The John R. McCune Charitable Trust accepts online grant applications from nonprofit organizations that are defined as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code in the areas of secondary & higher education, health care, and social/human services.
The majority of grants authorized by the Charitable Trust are Board driven, although unsolicited inquiry letters may be considered if the organization is located within southwestern Pennsylvania.
